The bustling market town of Romsey is a short drive away whilst a little further afield are Sailsbury and Winchester with their glorious cathedrals; Beaulieu’s motor museum and Lymington for the Isle of Wight. Fabulous shops at West Quay, Southampton; a stroll round Mudeford Quay, Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole are all within an hour’s drive. Riding, golf, world-famous fishing and superb walks on the Test Valley path are available locally

We had a fantastic time at Butler's Wood Cottage, The setting was idyllic, the grounds were wonderful for the children to play, explore and drive those wonderful toy tractors. We had family and friends whom we had not seen for years come to visit us who also loved the cottage and the wonderful log fires we had burning during the evenings. During the day we visited Winchester Cathedral and popped into Marley Zoo, overall we had a wonderful time and we would recommend Butler's Wood Cottage perfect for an all round family holiday.
